Annie and the Tree
This ten minute film features a seven year old girl, Annie, who is freely playing in the grounds of her school. She is wearing a Gopro camera mounted on a chest harness as part of research exploring children's play in natural environments. The play is her own, completely unadulterated and freely chosen, and shows the empathy, care and lengths she goes to, to patch-up a 'wounded' tree. (Click on image for external link to film).
Muddy Shorts
Philip Waters gives a talk at the Natural Learning Initiative's 9th Annual Design Institute conference, USA, 2011. Talking about a collaboration between the Eden project, Barnardos and Cornwall County Council, in a project called Muddy Shorts.
