I Love Nature can support schools in providing opportunities for children to develop a range of skills in areas beyond the national curriculum through narrative-based enrichment activities.
Whether you are looking to facilitate a primary-secondary school transition project, a character education programme or you simply want a team-building exercise, we can design and deliver a collaborative storied adventure that will suit your requirements.
Our approach is fairly simple but highly effective. We begin with a consultation from which we identify the points you wish to address. We then design the architecture for a storied adventure that would encourage and explore the points you wish to address, find a natural location and venue to host the activity (we often host on our site, but can come to you if preferred), and finally deliver a one-off, or programme of events as required.
All storied adventures, whatever their purpose, have elements of adventurous play, reflective time and subtle engagements with nature. Occasionally these can be more practical, such as building structures (dens, junk go-karts, bridges and aqueducts), or hanging items from tress for an off-the-ground adventure, or making things 'art and craft' style. Whatever the activity, it will always be contained within a story.
